Caring for your pets during COVID-19
At this unprecedented time, City Paws is here to continue to support St. Louis pets and their families. We understand that many people are unable to bring their pets in, have had changes to work and childcare schedules, and are simply limiting interactions to stay safe and prevent the spread of coronavirus. In order to support our client's needs, we are offering alternative appointment options. Effective immediately, City Paws is offering:
We are grateful for the continued support of our business during this time, and are happy to be here for you and your pets! -Dr. Mattes and the City Paws team
Looking for information about pets and COVID-19? At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that animals can get or transmit this type of virus. Thousands of dogs and cats in the U.S. have been tested by a large veterinary laboratory and all found to be negative (full info here). For the latest on pets and COVID, please check out resources from the American Veterinary Medical Association here.
- Telemedicine: appointments for EXISTING clients only via text, call or video: www.citypawsvet.com/telemedicine
- Patient appointments with curbside (while you wait) or drop-off options. Schedule your appointment through our online portal. When you arrive, call and our technician will come to your car and escort your pet inside. Our team will complete your pet's exam and treatment while you wait in your car or run your errands, and we'll communicate with you over the phone! This will help us all keep the recommended safe distance apart while still giving pets the care they need.
- Online Pharmacy: order your pet's prescription medications, parasite prevention and pet foods via our online store, and have them shipped straight to your house. Curbside pickup for some medications is also available!
